A Brief Introduction

Megan Hungerford, under the musical moniker leavingherwaterjar, is an Oklahoma based singer-songwriter. With a powerful voice and poetically heavy lyrics, she crafts songs that are at once both profound and comforting. Her songs feature a folk sound sprinkled with bluesy rock that honestly expose a heart that has wrestled with God while keeping a deep affection. leavingherwaterjar aims to give relatable words of a life following Jesus.

 

She also can be found helping lead worship at Bridgeway Church, her home church in OKC. Besides music she also enjoys baseball, chilly autumn weather, books, and hanging out with her dog Wrigley.
